USA Poker Sites for 2026

Four poker rooms worth your time still take players from the United States: Ignition, Bovada, Americas Cardroom and BetOnline. All four are offshore, none is licensed by a US state, and Ignition and Bovada run very similar poker rooms. Ignition hides player names and doesn't allow tracking software, which suits recreational players. Americas Cardroom is built around big tournaments and lets regulars use a HUD. BetOnline sits in between, with its own fast-fold game and a poker bonus that's separate from its sportsbook. Bovada is Ignition's games with a sportsbook and casino on the same account.

The figures below come from each room's own terms, bonus pages and banking pages, plus state regulators' announcements, checked in October 2026. Bonus terms change, so check the room's cashier before you deposit.

Ignition Poker

Ignition is the room we'd point a recreational player to. Every table is anonymous, so nobody can build a file on you, and its terms bar programs that collect data on other players. That takes away most of the edge regulars get elsewhere. The site has been running since 2016 and is licensed by the Anjouan Gaming Board, though no licence number is shown.

The welcome bonus works differently than it used to. When you make your first deposit you choose either the poker bonus or the casino bonus, and you can't switch later. The poker bonus is 100% up to $1,000 by card or 150% up to $1,500 with crypto, from a $20 deposit, with no code. It unlocks as you play: you earn 15 Ignition Miles for every $1 of rake, and $1 of bonus unlocks for every 30 Miles, so each $2 you pay in rake frees $1. Whatever hasn't unlocked after 30 days can be forfeited. Ignition's own bonus page still has a "$3,000" headline from the old combined offer, so go by the terms underneath it.

Games are Hold'em, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo, with Zone Poker as the fast-fold version. Tournament buy-ins run from $0.50 to $1,000, and the Sunday $200,000 guaranteed is the main weekly event.

Ignition's terms turn away players from Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey and New York, and you must be 18. Michigan isn't on that list, but Michigan's Gaming Control Board named Ignition in a cease-and-desist order in July 2025, so Michigan players should think twice.

Bovada Poker

Bovada's poker room runs on the PaiWangLuo Network, and its games look a lot like Ignition's: Hold'em, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo, Zone Poker as the fast-fold version, anonymous tables, and the same $200,000 guaranteed tournament on Sundays. What's different is the account around it. One Bovada login also gets you a sportsbook, a racebook and a casino, so it suits someone who wants everything in one place.

The poker welcome bonus is 100% up to $500 with code BPWB500. It unlocks $5 for every 150 Rewards Points you earn playing poker, and you have 30 days from your first deposit to earn them. Poker play also doesn't count toward the rollover on any other bonus active on your account, so if you take a casino or sports welcome offer as well, you'll have to clear that one away from the poker tables.

Check your state first. Bovada's account terms turn away players from 19 states plus Washington, DC, a much longer list than its poker page shows, and our Bovada Poker review lists them all.

Americas Cardroom

Americas Cardroom, or ACR, is the flagship of the Winning Poker Network and has been running since 2001. It's the room for tournament players. Its Venom series has advertised $12 million and $3 million guaranteed bounty events, and the two Venom bounty events on October 21, 2026 paid out $6.86 million against a $6.5 million guarantee. The terms name International Processing Services SA in Panama as the operator, with Anjouan licence ALSI-202607066-FI2.

The welcome bonus is 100% up to $2,000 on your first deposit, from $25, with no code. It releases $1 for every 27.5 reward points you earn from rake, and you have 60 days. One more rule matters before your first withdrawal: you need to have paid poker rake equal to 10% of everything you've deposited, and casino or sportsbook play doesn't count toward it.

ACR allows HUDs as long as they only use your own hand history. Real-time assistance, seating scripts and remote-desktop tools are banned, and the room checks for bots with video sessions. Blitz is the fast-fold game, and Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo run alongside Hold'em.

The terms turn away players from Washington, Kentucky, Delaware, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada and New Jersey, so check that list before anything else.

BetOnline Poker

BetOnline has been taking bets since 2001 and runs its poker room on the Chico Poker Network. It says it's based in Panama City and licensed in Panama, though it doesn't show a licence number. The poker room suits someone who also bets sports, because the poker bonus has its own terms, separate from the sportsbook and casino offers.

The poker bonus is 100% up to $1,000 with code POKER1000, and you have 60 days to clear it. The games go beyond Hold'em, with Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo and Six Plus short deck, plus Boost Poker as the fast-fold version and Windfall jackpot sit-and-gos. Cash games start at $0.05/$0.10. BetOnline gives everyone the same built-in HUD, which tracks stats for your current session only.

Crypto is the way to bank here. Deposits start at $10, withdrawals at $20, and BetOnline says crypto payouts go out within 24 hours. Card deposits start at $25 and carry a 2% to 5% fee.

BetOnline has had more trouble with state regulators than the other two. Mississippi, Illinois, Michigan, Tennessee and Massachusetts all sent it cease-and-desist letters between 2024 and 2025, and the Massachusetts letter names poker specifically. If you live in one of those states, think hard before signing up.

Is there a no deposit poker bonus?

Not at any of these four rooms. None of them gives free money for signing up. The closest thing is a freeroll. ACR runs eight $50 guaranteed freerolls a day, rotating between Hold'em and Omaha, though its page doesn't say whether you need to have deposited first. Ignition has a weekly freeroll worth at least $2,500, but only players who've reached its Chrome reward tier can enter, so it isn't open to a new account.

If you want free money to play casino games with, our no deposit bonus list is the place to look.

Getting money in and out

Crypto is the easiest way to fund any of these rooms, for the same reason as at offshore casinos: US banks have to block payments tied to unlawful internet gambling, so cards get declined, and the ones that go through can be expensive. Ignition's own page quotes card fees of 15.9% or more. Crypto deposits there are free.

Crypto is also the usual way to cash out. Ignition's Bitcoin withdrawals start at $100 and go up to $9,500 at a time, with no fee. BetOnline pays crypto from $20. Our deposits and withdrawals guide explains how offshore payouts work in general.

Questions about US poker sites

Which poker site is best for a beginner?

Ignition. The tables are anonymous and tracking software isn't allowed, so regulars can't build notes on you, and tournament buy-ins start at $0.50. Just pick the poker bonus at your first deposit, because you can't switch to it later.

Can I use a HUD?

At Americas Cardroom, yes, as long as it only reads your own hand history. Ignition doesn't allow software that tracks other players. BetOnline has its own built-in HUD that keeps stats for your current session.

How fast do poker bonuses actually pay out?

Slowly. They release in small amounts as you pay rake. At Ignition each $2 of rake frees $1 of bonus, and Americas Cardroom releases $1 for every 27.5 reward points you earn. Whatever hasn't released by the deadline, 30 days at Ignition and 60 at the other two, can be forfeited.

Do these rooms take players from every state?

No. Ignition turns away five states, Americas Cardroom nine and Bovada 19 plus Washington, DC, and state regulators have sent cease-and-desist orders to all of these rooms. Check the room's terms for your state before you deposit.
