Ignition suits recreational poker players who want anonymous tables where nobody can run tracking software on them, plus quick crypto payouts. The catch is the welcome bonus: there's no free money, it only releases as you pay rake, and you need $2,000 in rake within 30 days to unlock the full $1,000. Michigan players should also know the state regulator has ordered Ignition to stop serving them.

Ignition has been running since 2016. It's a poker room and casino under one brand, and this review covers the poker side.
Who runs it and who can play
The footer and terms say that in some jurisdictions the site is operated by Bamboo Media, registered under company number 11548 in Anjouan, Union of the Comoros, and that Arachis Media Ltd is licensed and regulated by the Anjouan Gaming Board. No licence number is shown, only the company registration number, so there's nothing for you to check.
The Terms of Use, last updated January 3, 2024, close the site to five states: Delaware, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey and New York. The terms don't list any other state, and the minimum age is 18.
Michigan is the one to watch. On July 2, 2025, the Michigan Gaming Control Board named Ignition among 19 operators it ordered to stop serving Michigan residents, and the terms still don't list Michigan.
The welcome bonus is paid for in rake
Pay by card and you get 100% up to $1,000. Pay with crypto and it's 150% up to $1,500. The minimum deposit is $20 and there's no code. Ignition's own pages don't agree on the headline figure: the bonus page title still says $3,000, the About page says up to $2,000, but the actual terms cap it at $1,500. Go by the terms.
The bonus doesn't land in your balance. It sits locked and releases $1 for every 30 Ignition Miles you earn, and poker earns 15 Miles per $1 of rake or tournament fees. So every dollar of rake you pay unlocks 50 cents. To get the whole $1,000 card bonus you'd pay $2,000 in rake, and the full $1,500 crypto bonus takes $3,000. A smaller first deposit is more realistic: put in $200 by card and the $200 bonus needs $400 in rake.
You get 30 days from the deposit to earn those Miles, and anything still locked after that may be forfeited. The good part is that once a dollar unlocks, it's yours with no rollover. Jackpot Sit & Go buy-ins have earned no Miles since October 9, 2025, so they won't move your bonus at all.
You only get one welcome bonus. The casino bonus is the alternative, with 25x playthrough, and once you choose at your first deposit you can't switch.
No deposit offers for poker
Ignition doesn't advertise a no deposit bonus, and every welcome offer needs at least $20. The nearest thing is a weekly freeroll on Thursdays at 9:05 PM ET with at least $2,500 in prizes, but it's only open to Chrome tier and up. Chrome takes 2,500 lifetime Miles, about $167 in rake, so a brand new player can't enter. There's also a refer-a-friend payment of up to $125 per friend.
Games and tournaments
Cash games cover Texas Hold'em, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo in no-limit, pot-limit and fixed-limit, with buy-ins from 50 cents. Zone Poker is the fast-fold version: fold and you're moved straight to a new table with new cards, on a 15-second clock. You can run two Zone tables next to two regular ones.
Ignition says more than 150 tournaments are running at any time, with buy-ins from 50 cents to $1,000 and satellites from $1. Sit & Gos run from 2 to 27 players, and Jackpot Sit & Gos are three-handed hyper turbos with prizes up to 1,500 times the buy-in. The room claims $2 million guaranteed every week. The Sunday main event is the headline, but the tournaments page gives it as $200,000 in one place and $220,000 ($150 + $12, 4 PM ET) in another.
The big series is the Black Diamond Poker Open, whose 15th edition ran February 20 to March 25, 2026. There's also a Bad Beat Bonus of up to $1,000 and a Royal Flush Bonus of up to $200.
Anonymous tables and no HUDs
Usernames are hidden and each player gets a number, so opponents can't build a history on you. The terms also ban tracking programs and databases that collect data on other players, and using one can get your account closed and winnings voided.
You can download the client for Windows 7 or later and Mac OS X 10.7, or play in the browser. On mobile there's nothing to install, it runs in the browser on iPhone, iPad and Android, and you can play up to four tables at once.
Banking for US players
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Deposits | Visa, Mastercard and gift cards ($20 to $1,500); vouchers; MatchPay; Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, Litecoin, Ethereum, Tether and Lightning (up to $5,000, Lightning $10,000) |
| Withdrawals | The same crypto coins, vouchers, player transfers and MatchPay. No card or bank wire option |
| Minimum withdrawal | $10 for Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, Lightning, vouchers and MatchPay; $50 for Ethereum and Tether; $100 for Bitcoin |
| Maximum withdrawal | Bitcoin $9,500 each and $90,000 a week; Litecoin $180,000 a week; Lightning $25,000 a day; Ethereum, Tether and Bitcoin Cash $2,500 a week |
| Fees | None on crypto either way. Card deposits are listed at 15.9% or more |
| Timing | After approval: Lightning up to 15 minutes, most coins up to an hour, Bitcoin up to 24 hours |
That card fee is the number to notice. A $100 card deposit can cost you $15.90 or more before you play a hand, which wipes out a big chunk of the bonus on a small deposit. Crypto is free and the limits are high, so it's the obvious way to go.
The timing figures come from Ignition's help center. Its About page gives older ones, 5 to 10 business days for payouts and Bitcoin within 72 hours, so the room's own pages give two answers. Ignition can ask for ID and proof of address before your first cashout.
Rake and rewards
Rake is 5%, taken as $0.01 for every $0.20 in the pot. Heads-up tables cap at $1 at every stake. At no-limit and pot-limit up to $0.10/$0.25, the cap is $0.50 two-handed, $1 with three or four players and $2 with five or more. Above that, up to $10/$20, it runs from $1 heads-up to $4 with six players.
Ignition doesn't advertise a rakeback percentage. Miles convert to bonus cash at a rate that improves as you climb, up to 1,000 Miles per $1 at Titanium, which takes a million lifetime Miles. Miles expire after 12 months, but your lifetime total never does, so you don't lose your tier.
Should you sign up?
If you play for fun and don't want regulars tracking your every hand, Ignition is worth a look. The anonymous tables and HUD ban protect you from players who study everyone they sit with, and crypto withdrawals are quick and free. Go in knowing the welcome bonus is really a rake rebate, worth 50 cents per dollar of rake for 30 days, so size your deposit to what you'll actually play that month. Use crypto, not a card, and if you're in Michigan, think hard before depositing, since the state has already told Ignition to stop serving you.
